In no sector is the labour shortage more prominent than in #healthcare. Today’s announcement will facilitate, fast track and streamline permanent residency applications and help improve health workforce recruitment efforts by bringing more qualified health professionals into 🇨🇦.
We are bringing more health care workers to Canada! We’ve changed the approach to immigration by bringing an additional focus on certain sectors facing serious labour shortages. The first sector to benefit from this new process is healthcare.
Thank you @NSCollegeNurses for welcoming and introducing us to your hard working staff. The work you are doing to speed up the process of accepting nurses from other provinces and countries is incredible. All provinces and territories should lead by your example👏
