Showers + thunderstorms have developed over the San Diego mountains (ex. Julian, Pine Valley incl part of I-8) this afternoon. A few stronger storms with gusty winds to around 35 mph, small hail, and brief heavier rain are likely, and dangerous lightning is possible in any storm.
A special weather statement has been issued for Julian CA until 3:45 PM PDT
The rain chances continue tomorrow, with the highest chances being over the mountains. Lightning, gusty and erratic winds, and brief, heavy rainfall will all be possible.
12PM: Showers are moving into the High Desert, including the Victorville area. Light rain may occur at times, but currently these showers are resulting in some strong outflow winds, gusting around 40-45 mph along the I-15 corridor. Blowing dust will be possible!
