There's a switch that goes off around late-20s/early-30s, where you suddenly stop caring about what people think. You don't feel the same need to justify yourself or explain your choices. I had my first real 'couldn't care less' experience this week and, friends, it was glorious.
@NancAdimora Oh hang on to your britches because it’s going to be 100 times stronger with each year. I got to 40 and literally don’t care about anything or anyone 😂😂😂
@NancAdimora The frontal lobe fully forms around 25 years of age.. That's the epiphany you get
@NancAdimora This is real freedom my friend, and it feels GREAT. However, I don’t think there’s a switch. It comes from self reflection, writing, reading, taking responsibility for yourself (healthy eating, healthy choices). I know people in their 60s still worrying what other’s think.
@NancAdimora Well said. I don't think my "give-a-shit" genes were ever actually activated. I never really cared and it has matured even more so with age. Welcome to the club.
@NancAdimora I’m 29, turning 30 on the 30th. I accepted this literally in august. I just don’t care. I’m such an over thinker, it’s not going to help me at all. Plus, fuck what someone has to say about me etc. too grown to be going through all that
@NancAdimora I fully realized this at 23. By 24 I began practicing Life by my own terms: the results were bad… By 25 I began Living by Mathew 6vs33: the results were Life transforming — I became a Prophet / Mage 🧙♀️. Today I am 29, and I can tell everyone for a Fact: God is.
@NancAdimora The absolute truth. I’ve devoted too much of my 20s to making others happy/people pleasing. Now that I’m 29, those days are over.💯
@NancAdimora @jackieaina Wait until you hit 40- it gets better 👌 That’s when the true fu*ks to give cup runneth dry
@NancAdimora Are you married? I ask because a great deal of marriage is caring about how your spouse feels.
@NancAdimora Wait til yoh turn 40 chile...
