Really pleased the responses to my consultation have now been published showing a clear majority in favour of a pardon. As a Minister, I am unable to introduce Members Bills to Parliament, however another MSP could take this forward and hopefully, without the need to reconsult.

Women accused of witchcraft fell victim to a terrible injustice and many suffered a horrific fate all of which was fuelled by heightened misogyny and hysteria, something we still see many shades of in the modern day. We can show that we have learned from mistakes of the past.
@NatalieDon_ You are my MSP Natalie. Surely you must realise you are in real danger of losing your seat. Everyone is saying to concentrate on the day job.
@NatalieDon_ According to Humza you cannot assume women are women...they might be men.
@NatalieDon_ Can you not just stick to the basics? Like sorting out the disaster of Early Years provision?
@NatalieDon_ At it happens I've been researching a programme about the Scottish Witch trials... about 25% of the accused were men. I'm sympathetic to the subject; but in the context of a Scotland and independence movement in turmoil... Well... Nero actually played a Lyre while Rome burned.🙄
@NatalieDon_ How do you know they were women? Define women in this context. The SNP with their partners in crime, the Greens, have heightened abuse and misogyny in Scotland by their denial of sex and an adherence to 'gender' ideology.
