My little neighbour Olivia has helped me immensly this afternoon to help re-make some "Keeping safe at Forest School" flashcards and she made a lovely poster too. Looking forward to returning to schools new and existing on 9th September running outdoor nurture groups. Sarah
The children wood whittled, decorated pinecones to play a game, made fishing rods and fish, den building, sewing. We still have 2 weeks left working in schools and 1:1 provisions will continue through summer. We look forward to expanding into more schools from September. Sarah

1:1 provision looked at lichens and difference with air pollution. Clowne Juniors pupils showed team work in a archeological dig. Home-ed we went to see the tadpoles at the pond. Woodthorpe School made nature paintbrushes. Bolsover CofE had a go at fire lighting, sawing wood.
I am studying to become an accredited "Outdoor Mental Health Practitioner" for SEN and Complex needs of children. I am looking forward to developing and supporting more children's social and emotional needs in a Forest School environment in schools from September. Sarah

Wonderful morning at "Garden by the Plant" in Whitwell managed by Planterior. We had an Easter themed session with woodwork activities, orienteering, bushcraft, a mass game of Among us and an Easter Egg hunt. We had so much fun!!

Yesterday we had a bug hunt, whittle wood and fire lighting with marshmallows at Clowne Juniors and Grassmoor Primary. 1:1 we made and floated a mini boat. Today we have had Thursday home ed tribe get creative with paint and nature. A Kelly Kettle licence was achieved today 😃

Yesterday Thursday Home Ed Tribe split into 2 teams and made a flag each for Capture the Flag. Clowne Juniors enjoyed being creative & smaller groups made minecraft tools. At a 1:1 session we made some fruity bird feeders (and ate quite a bit of it ourselves 😆). Sarah
Bolsover TV came and filmed us making bird feeders. We have seen so many blue tits and Chaffinch's in the garden today. We have also been at Woodthorpe and Grassmoor School making bird feeders and building dens. We are looking forward to returning to Clowne Juniors next week

Christmas lunch number 2 today! Thursday Tribe enjoyed delicious food, craft and games at "Garden by the Plant" managed by Planterior. We are looking forward to more craft and games next week before we break for Christmas 😃
Today our Christmas Session was enjoyed with lots of crafts, snack and hot chocolate over fire, games and exploring at "Garden by the Plant" in Whitwell managed by Planterior. We wish our weekend families a very Happy Christmas.
Today lots of tool use and learning insect facts with a bug hunt with year 4's at Clowne Juniors and continued working on our woodwork project with Yr5 at Grassmoor School.
