Sony's current CEO Hiroki Totoki is aggressively transitioning the company away from most physical electronic products that they are known for and have a deep history with. - Tv (bravia products) division spun off - Physical disc PlayStation games ending - Ending 4k blu ray player production - Exiting car stereo busines - also no longer attending CES. All this was announced over the last 12 months.

We are excited to share that AMD FSR 4.1 will be available to developers on XBOX Series X|S very soon. We have partnered closely with our friends @AMD to optimize and tune the models to deliver incredible performance and quality on both consoles and the ROG XBOX Ally and Ally X. This sets the foundation for our work together as we collaborate on FSR Diamond and Project Helix.

We can fix smart TVs too?!

Mike Ybarra, a former executive at Xbox and Blizzard Entertainment, believes that no one will buy a next-gen Xbox that costs $1,200-1,800, as recent reports have suggested. He believes that Microsoft shouldn't release a new Xbox at all at just stick with the current Xbox Series X/S instead. This is what he said: "A 'console' is a mass-audience device and you need great games and a low entry price (IMO $399 to $499). A console at the prices rumored below will never sell meaningful units to be of any value vs. alternatives. Zero. I wouldn't release it at all. Stick with PS5 Pro/Series X until prices normalize. The capabilities of those boxes are both fine for 99% of the audience. No one is screaming 'I need a more powerful console' right now and I believe tons of optimization can and is happening on those platforms (see Xbox's AMD announcement on FSR 4.1 today - which is fantastic)." Do you agree with Ybarra? #xbox #blizzard #microsoft #projecthelix

Pues se acabó, ADIÓS A BIOWARE. Tras 30 años de historia. Tras inspirar a generaciones de jugadores y desarrolladores. Tras crear varias obras maestras atemporales. Y aunque sus últimas obras no estuvieran a su nivel. Tras todo eso. Los SAUDÍS (EA) cierran BIOWARE. D.E.P.

Bioware has been a massive part of CDPR history. We befriended them when localizing and selling Baldur’s Gate games in Poland, Czech, and Slovakia. And later they were great help when lending us their engine for Witcher 1, sharing their wisdom and even giving us a spot at their booth at E3. I had a pleasure to visit them a few times in Edmonton and also host them in our Warsaw office. Very sad for the people affected, but also sad to see a legendary brand go down. Not a great day in the games industry.

THIS.
