With the camping season in full swing here Neys, there are some important things to keep in mind during your visit🏕 Driftwood is an essential contributor to ecosystems, which makes it very important to not remove it from where it is found. ontarioparks.com/parksblog/why-…
This is a Northern Red Belt🍄 It is a type of fungus and was spotted along our Point Trail🌳 While out and about at Neys, there are many awesome living organisms to spot including various species of fungi🔎
Apparently, the dirt outside our Visitor Center makes for an amazing bath🛁 In this video, a Grouse is loosening dirt with it's feet and it's beak, which it then kicks and disperses throughout it's body. This Grouse is now all squeaky clean! ⛲
