Teachers are very well organized hoarders. I had to say it.🍎 I have file cabinets, closets and cabinets full of papers, books, projects and transparencies (google it if you don’t know what they are) going back 20 years, BUT because they are stored and filed— you’d never know.
@NicholasFerroni Your classroom looks ready for your students! 👏🏻💗 Have fun!
@NicholasFerroni Yeah - I was looking at some of that in June, and I have transparencies too 😁and thought, I haven't touched some of this for years - I really do need to clean it out. Especially after seeing my friend do a clean out when she retired in June.
@NicholasFerroni I lost my classroom this year…(music and prep coverage). The amount of teaching material that now lives in my basement is insane. My corner at school is a former storage area that I’ve been calling my hoarder’s den all year. 😂
@NicholasFerroni I did a bunch of purging this summer. My husband had a hard time getting the recycling bin to the end of the driveway during June and July!!
@NicholasFerroni My coteacher and I have 25 years experience each. We pledged to clean out our filing cabinets at the end of last school year and did. I just spent two days at school this week throwing away more stuff. It just finally had to go!
@NicholasFerroni I’ve moved classrooms so much that I can’t keep any extra paper whatsoever 🥴
@NicholasFerroni It took me about 2 years prior to retirement to go through and purge my cabinets…..
@NicholasFerroni I used to have those same posters of Lincoln and JFK when I was in the classroom!👍🏻
