no better feeling than turning your old ~100 lines of code into about 10 lol
finally finished the semester, guess whos gonna get back to work on funkinios asap 😏
also i see that mobile build tier :o, if that gets reached and u need help from someone who has the slightest haxe mobile experience holla at ur boy @ninja_muffin99 ;););)
Week 7 is out, along with a kickstarter for FNF! kickstarter.com/projects/funki…
@sonic_ring You don't have your display set to zoomed in settings right? I think that's maybe the reason why is not working for some ppl
Do any of my followers have an iPhone 6+, 7+ or 8+? If so, do the controls on FunkiniOS show up? I'm hearing some reports of it working and some saying it doesn't and I'm guessing it might be b/c ppl are using zoomed resolution on iOS, but I wanna make sure
@sansbend ...likely when Week 7 comes out because the devs said they're changing how mod loading works, on top of file structure changes, and I feel that it's a bit pointless to spend the time to add support if its gonna be broken again soon lol
@sansbend Actually, mod support might be a bit wack, that's because I had to manually downscale the sprites and then double the size in the code in order to save RAM but the mods use the full sized sprites, so then they're being doubled again. Better mod support will be added soon enough
FunkiniOS v1.0.1 is here, just a fix for iPhone 6+, 7+ and 8+ models where the controls wouldn't show up, whoops :p github.com/hadobedo/Funki…
@sonic_ring I’ll take a look really soon, I don’t have a test device but I’ll check tonight and send you an updated build
@sonic_ring Hmm, it should work, maybe try deleting the IPA and reinstalling? If that doesn’t work let me know, I’ll push another update
@MinitoonR The iPad doesn’t haven enough RAM to run it via safari, you’ll have to install the IPA via AltStore, youtu.be/3DHv4g-Xt9g, skip to 0:40 if you have a Mac or 1:26 if you have Windows PC
@Harith12312 I would try making a new Apple ID just for altstore, it can be weird with some accounts sometimes
Future updates should include: Controller/Keyboard support New input system, similar to Funky Friday/Robeats Probably some visual bug fixes
@thenintendoner5 It might work, try navigating to /var/containers/Bundle/Application/(funkinios folder)/Funkin.app/assets
I’ve read your guys suggestions and I will be implementing some of them soon (swap position of dpad/action buttons, robeats-style input, bug fixes). currently I’m taking a slight break aka catching up on uni work :p
Also, thank you for 1k subs on YouTube, it means so so much to me, you guys rock :)
