@StefanRows @CodeWithTamara Nice mount position by the steering wheel — that’s the key to staying focused on the road. I’ve been building an iPhone app that does dual cam (road + cabin) at the same time, Just released it if you ever want to try something like that for road trip vlogs.

@michaelsuarez_ Nice setup! Mounting both is solid. I’ve actually been building an iPhone app that does dual cam (road + cabin) at the same time — basically turns your phone into a dashcam without needing extra gear. Just released it, if you ever want to try it out.

@the_naruto_fan Cabin angle is always a struggle lol. Having front road + interior synced on one timeline helps a lot for those memories. Dedicated cam or phone setup?

@mcrbrainrot Same! Phone as dashcam is so handy for trips. Dual cam (road + cabin) makes the footage way more useful though. How’s battery life treating you? If you’re on iPhone and like dual-cam setups, might be worth trying LvTuJi sometime.

@CaryKelly11 Totally feel this. The roads have gotten wild. Have you looked at phone-based options that do front+rear at the same time? Some of the newer ones stay fully local (no cloud) and double as travel vlog recorders—might save the extra hardware if you already have an iPhone.

@SarahZingalis Haha this is so relatable 😂 Car filming always ends up being a balancing act. What’s your usual mount situation for road trips? I’ve been testing turning the iPhone into a simple dual-cam setup (front+rear) for exactly this kind of drive footage—keeps hands free

@keyarraa_ Totally get it — one camera often isn’t enough for a full trip vlog. Have you tried turning your iPhone into a dual-cam setup (front + rear) for drives? Some apps keep everything local which is nice for privacy.

@FreddyLA7 Epic start to the Texas loop! Small towns like Fredericksburg or Marfa area usually deliver great stops. Are you capturing the drives mainly with phone or a dedicated setup? The scenery looks perfect for a travel vlog.

@StaticHeartPA Haha the classic “phone as dashcam” struggle! Getting the road in frame while keeping yourself visible is tricky. How are you mounting it right now? Dual front+rear can make that a lot smoother for drives.

@TravelCaptures_ Queenstown to Glenorchy is such a “wish I filmed the whole drive” route. did you keep a camera rolling between stops or just shoot at viewpoints?

@OMGBEES @pipkinpippa that awkward “talking to the windshield” feeling is so real. a lot of road trip footage works better as scenery + cabin moments without forcing commentary the whole time

@AltoAngel @steveswarb6383 same feeling. a lot of people just use the phone they already have now — loop record, no extra box on the glass

@teedup999 @dexcooldrinker small windshield is brutal. phone mount + loop record is usually easier than a bulky cam — still keep eyes on the road though

Turn your iPhone into a dual-camera road trip recorder. Front + rear recording, live GPS watermark (speed, altitude, location), and automatic Journey mode that turns scattered clips into a complete story with map replay. Privacy-first: everything stays on your device.

@neon_node_ This is so true. The hard part usually isn’t the camera — it’s keeping it running for a whole day without fuss.

@kidtsang Highest drive in the Northeast is a perfect “leave the camera on” route. The summit approach footage is usually the keeper.

@Iyona_R @YouTube 72-hour road trip footage is the best kind of chaos. Did you leave a phone rolling the whole drive or just hop out for clips?

@knucklestweets If you already have an iPhone on the mount, you might not need another box. Front + rear from one phone is enough for most drives. LvTuJi
