@RoseburnCycle All the traders have been fighting aimlessly with the council and the contractors as we are all losing serious amounts of business. Footfall has dropped dramatically. We are all on our knees and the council does not care.

After every notary service we like to make a donation to a charity. After signing an Affidavit, we donated to @MQmentalhealth, a charity that conducts research into the science behind mental health.

After reading Andrew Wilson's weak article I then researched the Greek economy post financial crisis, to get a feel for how things could turn out in Scotland. Not good, to put it mildly

Brilliant deconstruction of @AndrewWilson's disingenuous Speccie article by @kevverage. It begs the Q why it was published in the first place. I hope it wasn't because of editorial links with Charlatan Street. @FraserNelson @afneil spectator.co.uk/article/leavin… via @spectator

@HenryPryor Results just in for Leith - October has been our best month this year for listing properties on the market. All expected to sell to FTB, BTL etc. Plenty purchases. Bumper year for Watermans

@HenryPryor Its about the same up to £300K. At £400K tax = £13.3K in Scotland, £10K in England and then it really takes off eg at £500K = £23.5K, but £15K down south. The governments initial projections were a joke. ADS is scooping up.

@HenryPryor Henry, LBTT replaced Stamp Duty in Scotland in 2015 and put the brakes on the market eg £1M pays £78,370 and £500K pays £23,350. But we are getting used to it. Tough on the young families and a disincentive for the old folks to move

@HenryPryor I was submitting an offer for a client to Purple Bricks; why do they ask for my client's email address, phone number & DoB before taking offer ? Details not supplied.
