I'm very sorry to announce that Notemon is being delayed. It simply wasn't living up to itself so I'm remaking it outside of PICO-8. I'm sorry to let you down.

Decided my dialogue system needs its own cart so it can be sufficiently complex. Character portraits, coloured text and stuff. Later the background will show the overworld like the battles :) #pico8 @NotemonGame Didn't want to wait for the next Patch Notes video to show it!

I'd never done an item/inventory system before. Sat down today to put one in @NotemonGame and it all went smoothly! One of those rare "type code for a while, hit run and it all works" moments :D Bar the usual few syntax errors. #pico8 #indiedev
