People continue to misunderstand what the Nets mean by “build around” Mikal Bridges. They don’t view him as THE piece. They view him as a core piece, the only undisputed key cog in a potential contender that they have at the moment. The plan is to add 1-2 players to the roster…

This is why I’m cautious of trading Bridges for picks. How many top 10 picks eventuate as good as a player like Bridges? You could get an Embiid, you could get a Stauskas. Wiggins was meant to be to the be the Jordan of Canada. ‘A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush’
