OBS Studio 30.0 is out! With a new and easier to read status bar, WHIP/WebRTC output, Intel encoder support for Linux, application audio capture and a new virtualcam for macOS 13+, safe mode crash recovery, RTMP IPv6 support, and more! Full Changelog: github.com/obsproject/obs…
QoL improvements in 30.0 include an option for full-height docks (seen below!), better sorting of several drop down menus, better logging for sources, better safeguards for unsupported encoder configurations, the ability to drag and drop filters, and shader caching on Windows to improve startup times.
@OBSProject I'll lead by saying "This is NOT a dig at OBS", but the only reason I don't use you over SLOBS is because they don't, legit literally, crash my whole computer. 🤣
@OBSProject And it's terrible so many bugs in this you've become unreliable. Thats your main strength, if you're going to ruin that then I guess the stream options win
@OBSProject For some reason the latest version is still 29.1.3 on the livecheck URLs
@OBSProject Awesome. I will update at the end of next week after I teach my weeklong class. (Not going to risk updating yet.)
@OBSProject Did the crackly Application audio capture bug get fixed ?
@OBSProject @david_ca6 I love ❤️OBS!!!!!!
@OBSProject Ooo exciting and terrifying lol
