OCCredditch @OCCredditch

Thank you all for your generous donations to our defibrilator campaign. We're now nearly two-thirds of the way there! You can still donate at: oasisredditch.church/defib

An exciting opportunity has arisen to manage our Oasis @ Woodrow charity shop. Part-time vacancy for Charity Shop Manager. Experience in working in retail management is desirable, but not essential. To know more about the role, please contact Robin on [email protected]

If you were in our service this Sunday, or you watched it online, you will have heard that we've been donated a defibrillator by the Rugby League World Cup 2022. This means that our new target is just £750! You can donate online at oasisredditch.church/defib, or directly to church.

Don't forget, we're still raising money for our defibrillator. You can donate online (oasisredditch.church/defib) or you can give directly to church. Defibrillation in the first 3mins of Sudden Cardiac Arrest increases survival chances by 80%, so your donations will help save lives!

O come, all ye faithful, joyful and triumphant O come ye, O come ye to Oasis Church! Join us for carols, prayer and celebration. 10:30, Sunday morning, 10:30 Sunday morning, 10:30 Sunday morning, at Oasis Church!

Don't forget it's Livewires tomorrow! From 18:15-19:30, we'll be at church for games, activities and lots of fun! It's only £1 per child, along with 30p for tuck. If there's anyone else you think might enjoy it, why not invite them too? It's open to all kids aged 6-11.

A huge thank you to @AF_Blakemore who kindly donated a £50 voucher to spend on food for our Christmas hampers. If you wish to get involved with the Christmas Hamper Appeal, we will be having a special collection service at Oasis on Sunday 4th December.

If you're still looking for a way to support Operation Christmas Child this year, why not volunteer to help out at the warehouse! We're sending a team on Tuesday 22nd November to make sure the shoeboxes are ready to be sent off all over the world! Contact Nancy for more info!

This is your last week to bring items for Operation Christmas Child. If you want to donate, please bring the items in *before* the service on Sunday so that Sunday School can pack them! A list of accepted items is available on our Facebook and Instagram pages.

It’s not just the clocks that are changing this weekend – if you’ve been keeping up with what’s going on at church, you’ll know that Pastor Josh also has a new job! Join in prayer with us tomorrow for Josh and Luma as Josh starts his new role as pastor of Erdington Elim Church.

The clocks are changing on Sunday morning - we're moving back from BST into GMT. If you remember to change your alarm clock, that means that you'll get an hour extra in bed! If you don't, you'll just look extra keen to join us for our Sunday morning service!

We're starting to collect items for @OCC_shoeboxes! These boxes not only bring children around the world great joy at Christmas, but they also offer the Good News of Jesus! Check out our Facebook page for information on what you can donate!

We're always short on people to help out with our tech team, especially with Josh leaving in the next few weeks. If you're able to learn some new skills and help out on any of the tech stations on a Sunday, please let us know. I promise it's not as complicated as it looks!

Livewires runs every Friday from 6:15-7:30pm. There's loads of fun and games for kids between Year 2 and Year 6. Contact Asher for more info!

Time flies when you’re having fun, and all of a sudden it’s only a month before Pastor Josh leaves us to pastor his own church in Erdington! Josh’s last service with us will be on Sunday 23rd of October and we’d love to see you all there to say a big farewell to him!

We'd love for you to join us for our Light Party on the 22nd October. It's free, with fun, food and fellowship! Email Nancy to sign up!
