It was good while it lasted. @WWEgames really need to take a look at this franchise and really fix it. When you’ve got people want to play older games instead of the new ones something needs to be fixed. Hopefully the developers will take a good hard look and fix this stuff @CornellGunter_ @ITZLexieP

I just want to remind @WWEgames @CornellGunter_ @strausszelnick of something that should be painfully obvious: YOU ARE MAKING A WRESTLING GAME. If you want to keep your existing player base happy, engaged, and invested in the series while attracting new players, then your priorities should reflect what your audience actually wants: MORE WRESTLING CONTENT. Instead of wasting resources on science-fiction props and gimmicky objects, why not add more variations of turnbuckle pads, ring ropes, ring skirts, barricades, and other authentic wrestling equipment (WCW-style turnbuckle pads, steel posts, and cable ropes—NJPW turnbuckle pads)? Options that are painfully long overdue. Does the WWE 2K team even know what WCW style turnbuckle pads and WCW cable ropes look like? Do they know what NJPW-style turnbuckle pads look like? If they don't, they shouldn't be working on a pro-wrestling game. Instead of filling the game with wacky, fictional characters, why not expand Creation Suite with more generic hairstyles, facial hair, attire, accessories, and body parts inspired by classic and current wrestlers who, for whatever reason, cannot officially appear in the series? Give us more authentic arena parts (historic and contemporary) and more customization tools that allow us to recreate different eras of professional wrestling. The fact that we cannot do simple things like toggle between classic turnbuckle pads and current ones is a problem. Basic/low hanging fruit QOL features are missing, and it's an indication the WWE 2K team is misguided. The possibilities are practically endless, and you don't even need to reinvent the wheel. You just need to embrace the subject matter of the game you're developing. Wrestling fans want to recreate wrestling history, relive iconic moments, and create their own wrestling universe. Give them the tools to not only do that but do so without the current limitations plaguing this series. The WWE 2K series doesn't need to be everything to everyone. It needs to be the best PRO WRESTLING game it can be. Stop prioritizing novelty over authenticity. Stop treating wrestling-related content as an afterthought. When it comes to details and relevant content, the WWE 2K modding community puts the WWE 2K team to shame. BOTTOM LINE—FOCUS ON WRESTLING. #WWE2K26 #WWE2K27
