X forgets your scandal in 2 weeks. Google remembers it for 10 years. That's why PR teams panic about the trending tab when they should be panicking about page one.

Unpopular opinion: front rows are booked by follower count now, not taste. Then brands act shocked when the comments say the show felt like an ad. You can't buy the attention and then complain about the audience.

There are 5.66 billion social media accounts in the world, about 69% of everyone alive. And the average person uses 6.75 different platforms every month. Your customers aren’t on “social media.” They’re on 7 of them, and you’re probably on 2.

Everyone's worried AI models will take real models' jobs. I'm more worried about AI copies of real models. Same face, same body, zero payment, zero consent. The first one is a business problem. The second one is theft. Denmark is trying to make it illegal. Every country should.

Would you buy a $3,000 bag from a brand that had a huge scandal last year if it was 50% off? Yes or no. No "it depends".

Every celebrity who says "I never Google myself" is either lying or paying someone to do it for them. There's no third option. Your name is your business. Not knowing what page one says about you isn't humble. It's careless.

Models: your face might be on a store you've never heard of. Fake fashion shops steal campaign photos and run them as ads. Same pose, same lighting, $19.99 "designer" dress. The brand loses the sale. You lose control of your face. Reverse-search your best campaign shot this weekend and tell me what you find.

Public figures in the UK and EU: check your Instagram notifications.Meta uses facial recognition to catch scam ads that use famous faces. They call it "celeb-bait". It compares the face in the ad with your own profile photos and blocks the ad if it matches. It's opt-in. Public figures get an in-app notice to turn it on. There's a decent chance your face is selling a crypto scam somewhere right now.

8/ What nobody can remove: true news, court records, honest reviews. Anyone who promises otherwise is lying to you. Save this. Send it to one person who needs it.

1/ Everything a model or public figure can actually get removed from the internet in 2026, in the US and Europe. And the stuff nobody can remove, no matter what they charge you 🧵

Be honest: do you Google someone before you work with them, hire them or date them?

Hot take: the Notes app apology is dead. A screenshot of grey text just says "my PR team wrote this at 2am. "The apologies that actually work now: → short → on camera → no "sorry if anyone was offended" → one specific thing you'll do differently People forgive the mistake way faster than they forgive a bad apology.
