#OnThisDayInWWE 30 years ago: WCW presented Spring Stampede 94 A really strong line-up and some great matches It's viewed as the last great PPV before Hulk Hogan joined a couple of moths later - on reflection it feels like the end of an era
@OTD_in_WWE WCW ceased to exist in June when it became HHCW...
@OTD_in_WWE Great PPV. WCW's talent roster at this time was insane.
@OTD_in_WWE I totally agree. An end of an era. It would of been slamboree is rude didn’t get hurt but for sure spring stampede was the last great wcw ppv pre hogan
@OTD_in_WWE It’s a damn shame how they killed off Vader when Hogan showed up
@OTD_in_WWE Would loved to have seen Steamboat get a second, albeit short, reign with the title before Flair would win it back to set the table for the Hogan arrival.
@OTD_in_WWE I bought this show (kind of rare for me) because I feared what was coming
@OTD_in_WWE By Starrcade, the Austin/Pillman/Steamboats were swapped out with the Beefcake/washed Duggan/Kevin Sullivans.
