Happy new week from this end too, Chef Ade. Wishing you an inspiring and deliciously busy week at the atelier 👩🏽‍🍳 By the way, just a quick reminder to always check your cylinders for manufacturing markings, look out for deep dents or rust, and ensure they go through requalification/recertification when due. Safety makes the magic taste even better. #SafetyFirst #LPG

This sounds amazing 👩🏽‍🍳 Wishing you a super productive and fully booked week ahead in Benin City. Ensure you always remember to check your gas hose for any cracks or wear, and firmly turn off the cylinder valve right at the source after every cooking session. A quick 2-second habit that keeps your kitchen 100% safe. 🔥🛡️ #SafetyFirst #LPG #SafetyAwareness

This is funny until you realise how dangerous the situation is. A stone cannot fix a faulty, leaking regulator, and any suspected gas leak should be treated as an immediate safety concern. The gas supply should not be used until the fault is addressed by a qualified professional. Avoid flames, electrical switches and sparks, move away from the affected area, and alert the appropriate emergency service or gas supplier from a safe location. Gas safety is not negative thinking. It is taking a preventable risk seriously before someone gets hurt. #GasSafety #SafetyFirst #ExplosionPrevention

I went to visit my neighbour when I noticed her gas cylinder had a big stone on it. I asked her why, and she said the regulator was bad and leaking gas, so she decided to use a stone to keep it stable. This is someone with hyperactive boys. In fact, it was one of her boys who

Enjoy every single bite. 🛡️ Quick Gas Safety Tip As you enjoy your cooking, remember that kitchen safety starts right at the source. Always check your regulator and hose connection, make sure your gas hose is securely clamped and free from cracks or wear. A quick soap-water test (applying soapy water to the hose and connections, if bubbles form, you have a leak) All these are just a very simple way to keep your kitchen completely safe. Have a wonderful and delicious meal. #SafetyFirst #GasSafetyAwareness

This is mouth watering, just after listening to that powerful sermon from church all one needs to do is to balance well on the couch with the AC on and consume this meal with a very cold fruit juice lol... But wait oooo when last did you inspect your gas cylinder? As a Nigerian we definitely make use of this 24/7 so when last did you inspect? Let me help you, before use, check 3 things: 1) Condition: Dents, bulging, severe rust or damage. 2) Valve area: Look for visible damage around the valve and collar. 3) Markings: Check identification and inspection details. Never ignore a warning sign or use a cylinder with a suspected fault. When in doubt, seek professional guidance. Safety starts with awareness. #SafteyFirst #SafetyAwareness #LPG

What would you do if you suspected a gas leak? A. Light a match to locate the leak. B. Switch electrical appliances on and off. C. Avoid ignition sources, move away and alert the appropriate emergency service. The correct answer is C. Knowing what not to do can be just as important as knowing what to do. #GasSafety #SafetyEducation #ExplosionPrevention

Never ignore the smell of gas. If you suspect a gas leak, do not light a flame, operate electrical switches or create sparks. Move away from the affected area, warn others if you can do so safely, and contact the appropriate emergency service or gas provider from a safe location. Never gamble with a suspected leak. #GasSafety #EmergencyPreparedness #SafetyFirst

This looks delicious..... Given how much time goes into whipping up tasty meals like this in the kitchen, it is always a good idea to keep safety top of mind especially when cooking with cooking gas (LPG). Just a quick gas safety tips for you ✓ Check Your Hoses Regularly: Inspect your rubber gas hose frequently for cracks, hardening, or wear. Replace them every 1 to 2 years, and always use heavy-duty, approved gas tubing with secure metal hose clamps. ✓ The Soap Test for Leaks: Never use a naked flame (like a match or lighter) to check for leaks. Instead, mix dish soap and water, and brush it over the cylinder valve, regulator, and hose joints. If bubbles start expanding, you have a leak. ✓Ensure Good Ventilation: Always keep your kitchen well-ventilated while cooking. Good airflow prevents dangerous gas build-ups if a minor leak occurs. ✓Turn Off at the Source: When you are completely done cooking for the day, it is a safe habit to turn off the main cylinder valve in addition to your cooker knobs. ✓Keep Flammables Away: Keep aerosol cans, paper towels, dishcloths, and plastic containers far away from the gas cooker burners. What to Do If You Smell Gas ✓ Do not strike a match, turn on any electrical switches, or plug in appliances, as a tiny spark can trigger an explosion. ✓ Open all windows and doors immediately to ventilate the space. ✓ Turn off the gas cylinder valve if it is safe to do so. In all ensure safety first. #GasCylinderAwareness #LPG #SafetyFirst

An inspection without corrective action is unfinished business. Identifying a defect is only the beginning. Findings must be assessed, documented where required and addressed appropriately. Equipment with safety-critical defects must not return to service until the necessary corrective action and checks have been completed. Inspection identifies the problem. Corrective action addresses it. #PreventiveMaintenance #SafetyCompliance #Engineering #gascylindersafety #cng #lpg

@CRawkeen Hmmmm!!!!! I don't think I can eat it o

You're bringing back childhood memories lol.... Back then, most especially our parents told us eating the chicken's bum would turn us into professional gossips, and I actually believed that, till date I don't even eat it. Just a little reminder that when cooking let safety come first. Always double check your LPG hose connections for wear and tear, keep your cylinders in a well-ventilated space, and never leave your cooking unattended to prevent accidental leaks or flare ups. Stay safe while you enjoy your meal Blunt. #GasSafetyAwareness #LPG #SafetyFirst
