🚨 Railway has disclosed a security incident that may have exposed customer secrets and other sensitive information. The company said an unauthorized third party may have accessed encrypted environment variables and obtained some decrypted contents, including API keys, database credentials, and container registry credentials. According to Onchain Lens, a suspected attacker’s wallet has transferred at least $369,300 to HitBTC and other addresses. The wallet had also received funds from addresses linked to CryptoBillis Ledger Drainer, but its connection to the Railway incident has not been officially confirmed. Railway has announced a suspension of deployments and launched an investigation. It is urging users to immediately rotate all secrets stored in environment variables on the platform, including API keys and container registry credentials, and review logs for affected services.
