The SEC’s new Innovation Exemption allows certain permissioned venues to facilitate onchain trading of tokenized U.S. stocks under temporary, conditional relief. The framework includes limits, disclosure requirements and investor-protection conditions.
Nearly $16B in Bitcoin options are scheduled to expire on Sept. 25. With large open interest concentrated around the expiry, derivatives positioning could add volatility as traders adjust or roll positions.
Crypto derivatives have seen a sharp deleveraging phase as BTC pulled back from its September highs. One tracked dataset showed more than $368M in futures liquidations over 24 hours, with longs accounting for about $310M.
U.S. spot Ethereum ETFs recorded about $105M in net inflows on Sept. 23, extending the positive streak to four sessions. BlackRock’s ETHA led with $50.8M, followed by Fidelity’s FETH at $41.3M.
U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs extended their inflow streak to five sessions through Sept. 23, with roughly $2.34B of net inflows reported across the run. BTC has pulled back from its recent highs, but ETF demand remains notable.
