We are dedicated to the OpenAI mission and have pursued it every step of the way. We’re sharing some facts about our relationship with Elon, and we intend to move to dismiss all of his claims. openai.com/blog/openai-el…
@OpenAI When you can’t build, acquire. When you can’t acquire, sue. Classic Boomer Business Tactics
@OpenAI "The Open in openAI means that everyone should benefit from the fruits of AI after its built but it's totally OK to not share the science" Yeah no, that's not what Open means in technology. Absolutely absurd that you can look us all in the eyes and pretend that's what you meant.
@OpenAI When I first heard of the lawsuit, if felt to me more like Elon going after a successful competitor than really caring about open source. He does not open source Grok. It's good to see the emails since it gives more insight. Will be interesting to see how this develops.
@OpenAI Is this conversation between OpenAI and Elon Musk Ai generated? We know a thing or two about that 😂
@OpenAI Elon Musk is 100% accurate at this claims. Release some open source models. What about Whisper V2? Improved Whisper at least?
@OpenAI Who is Anna Makenju? I keep seeing her name. She seems important.
@OpenAI This just seems like a developer made a ...product, then opened it and allowed the players to mod it, tweak it, improve it, repair coding... And then the company takes all their effort and work, lumps it all together, and labels it the gold edition for sale
@OpenAI "In late 2017, we and Elon decided the next step for the mission was to create a for-profit entity. Elon wanted majority equity, initial board control, and to be CEO." So Elon wanted OpenAI to be for-profit all along, as long as he was the main beneficiary.
