@ConEdison Thank you. While I understand that your team is endeavoring to restore service, the lack of transparency here feels like you are minimizing the impact this is having on local residents and businesses.

@ConEdison hello. My family is impacted by the gas outage in Manhattan. Can you direct me to where on your website we can find out information about the status of service restoration?

@ConEdison Thank you. There is an outages section on your website but nothing about *this* outage, which is confusing. Info about this gas outage should be publicly available online. I know elderly residents impacted here who do not have Twitter and cannot DM.

@ConEdison Thank you. I feel like you should be providing clear, up-to-date information about service outages on your website. Redirecting to DMs for basic outage information is not an efficient way to handle customer inquiries during a widespread issue.

@serge_fils @chulito_jotito They closed because the store was unionized not because of the convenient excuse of 'high rent'

Even the @nytimes called congestion pricing a ‘scheme’ before changing it to ‘plan’ @nycexpatmom

@AAC0519 @RezaC1 @NYCisNotSafe @Foo___Bar Well exactly. Isn't this based on pre-pandemic data anyway? This is much more of a cash grab for the @MTA than anything else.

@RezaC1 @NYCisNotSafe @Foo___Bar Also if it's 'congestion' pricing why is there still a charge during off-peak times?

@tkvonkleist @nyuniversity You're right. They should have just let them remain despite providing ample notice to decamp. It's worked out so well for @Columbia

@nycexpatmom NYU returned to full in person learning in Fall 2020 so, while I agree with your main point, NYU was away ahead of other colleges and universities here.

@nycexpatmom ... newsstands are sadly a relic of the past at this point. No one is buying printed media from a stand anymore. So, yes, it's sad, but also just like video stores, they're going to go extinct.

@nycexpatmom Not sure how much you follow commercial real estate but companies are abandoning downtown for class A properties in Midtown, so while it may be simple to blame the city, this is not unique to nyc, and we doing better than most other US cities are. Also...

@MiseryClips @keanuCthompson @NYCMayor Actually NYC shootings are down 27% compared to 2022, so yes, great job @NYCMayor! Also, Chicago has had over 2,000 shooting incidents this year. NYC has had 795, despite it being twice as large as Chicago. Philadelphia has had over 3,000(!!) shooting incidents this year!
