Our Fall Financial Report has been sent to all student organizations. It summarizes our contingency pool, 50% Rule penalties, reallocation requests, Finance & Budget Workshops, and predictions for annual budget submissions for the next fiscal year (FY20-21). #latenighttweet

The contingency form, reallocation form, and the 2020-21 50% Rule form has been drafted and posted on the new software platform, Campus Groups. Tomorrow, the Director of Finance will provide more information regarding annual budget submissions through Campus Groups💻📲

All emails have been sent out to student organizations who were subjected to the 50% Rule. By early next week, we will start reducing budgets by their respective amounts. Please contact us at your earliest convenience 📲💻.

Tomorrow, student organizations will be notified of their funds relative to the 50% Rule through email. The email will explain the implications of the form, the amount of funding seized, and the process of withdrawing funds. For more info, please refer to our Financial By-Laws.

As mentioned in our Budget Workshops, we will be moving on to a new softawre platform, Campus Groups. Over the break, our Director of Finance will be testing the software concurrently with LSI to communicate this info to all student orgs. Please dm or email is for questions 💻.

Fun Fact: A cool strategy as a way of building credit in the most timely manner, is to become an authorized user (AU) of a primary holder’s account. If someone you know has great credit history, ask them to become an AU; It doesn’t risk the primary holder’s credit score at all!

Hello everyone, as the semester comes to a close, we encourage all student organizations to complete the 50% Rule Form on Monarch Link. If your student organization does not intend on spending more than half of its budget by the end of the semester, then submit the form ASAP.
