Why/how does #frailty matter in the ED and to ED care of older people? An increased perhaps irreversible risk decline in function. An incr risk of developing delirium. An increased for access to social supports. We can make a diff in impt outcomes for older ppl by identifying it

Interesting study on older people in Irish EDs. Poor experience more likely if: - Longer waiting times - Questionnaire completed by another person with/on behalf of the patient - Having both a medical card and private health insurance. >85s more likely to report good experience
