Cybertruck Important Features Still Delayed! When Relying On OTA Updates Goes Too Far youtu.be/GoLnjhDWZEE?si…
Adding salt to the wound here, but there were a few times that I had overheard fellow coworkers telling customers that the features were available, when they in fact were not and had to correct them on it. Autopilot/FSD being the main offender. But the issue being the failed communication internally on this. I hope this isn’t the new Tesla standard either.
@Out_of_Spec @itskyleconner Running out of content? Lmao
@Out_of_Spec @itskyleconner Is this another rant about FSD on the Cybertruck? How many of those are you going to make before you attempt to actually understand why it was impossible for them to deliver this truck with FSD on day 1?
Who remembers when Model 3 didn’t have FM radio? Or one pedal driving? Or Navigate on Autopilot? Or Arcade? Or Theater? Or Joe Mode? Or Boombox? Or Sentry Mode? Or Dashcam? Or Summon? Or Dog Mode? Or Red Light Detection? Or Camp Mode? Or Spotify? Or Apple Music? It did none of those things at launch. Many of them for a year+ post launch. Feature parity is coming to Cybertruck … just a matter of “when.” If missing features bother someone, then maybe early adoption isn’t for them.
@Out_of_Spec @itskyleconner They are field testing through customers. I am a customer that will be waiting for features to be available. After watching your review on the @BMW I4 I am considering trading in the model 3.
@Out_of_Spec @itskyleconner Was there anything missing from the Chevy RST? Real range > 400 CyberTruck is a dud.
Back in 2016, my brand new Model S had zero autopilot capability. It did not get anything usable for almost a year, and didn’t even have safety features. Owners actually got a small cash settlement from Tesla because of this. Shipping a product but not having the software done is SOP for @tesla!
@Out_of_Spec @itskyleconner Amazing a car with many upgradable features and we’re bitching about features that aren’t quite ready yet. Privileged mindsets we have during these amazing days. As AI kicks in we could just be completely overwhelmed with the overload..
