So glad I grabbed the second @KonaGame : the first game was already a good experience and I feared we wouldn't see a sequel. Instead, such a good a sequel. Living in a cold area and a city that takes 1930s villas seriously (see fondoambiente.it/villa-necchi-c…) is a plus for me.
Call of the Sea (@COTSGame ) is such a lovely gem. The Lovecraft/Cthulhu mythos is herein used not to create a horror game, but to tell a love story through an explorative puzzle adventure. Is this working? Greatly! Never boring, never too hard, and with such a significant ending
@BenjaminRivers Is Alan Wake 2 a great game? What's your opinion so far? Huge fan of the franchise but I don't yet own a PS5 and I'm pissed they did not include VO in my language (it was part of AW), so I'm still waiting.
@StasisGame I played the Silent Hill games with like 20 medikits in my inventory, so death was not an option, but felt stressed as hell nonetheless. Put enough save game checkpoints not to be frustrating, but few enough to feel the fear of going back. Also, running out of ink ribbons in RE.

@Adventgamepod Both games aged pretty well, I'd go for Monkey Island if looking for humour and for Broken Sword if looking for a more detective oriented adventure. I voted for Broken Sword because both the interface and the graphics are a bit more user friendly.

Honestly a very underpriced game, considering it is not short despite featuring a quick travel system. Only reason not to buy is if you hate horror and only play comic adventures or games with lots of globetrotting. Also, cool unexpected ending!
Completed Hob's Barrow. A solid horror-mystery adventure game with a well written story, a convincing set of locations, splendid dubbing and incredibly well balanced puzzle design (despite I usually dislike the antipattern of pushing all myst-like enigmas to the final part).
I'm loving #worsethandeath by @BenjaminRivers - a true love letter to the survival horror genre. Good pacing, intriguing story and beautifully crafted puzzles in classic locations. If you're into adventure games and #silenthill you truly shouldn't miss this.
@COWCATGames I guess so. But you want me to buy your game as soon as possible at the highest price possible. Once you are friendzoned (wishlist / discounted) who knows what happens and when.
@COWCATGames Finally, as a console gamer, I usually think it just sucks to pay a higher price then Steam. If this higher price puts you beyond the 20€ barrier you are in a risky zone for me. Eventually, I'd stick with 19.9 but that has nothing to do with the quality of your game. 6/6
@COWCATGames I bet your game is worth 25€, but then I ask why not 40 like Vertigo or 50 like Syberia or 60 like LiS True Colors. As a buyer, I can only tell you that nowadays the likelihood I will overlook pricey games until I even forget about them is pretty high. 5/6
