@its_leky I spotted for 3 months and then bleed big clots for 3 months when I was 18. Was just diagnosed last year with PCOS at 25 and only because I pressed the issue after struggling with fertility. Please black women take your health into your own hands because they really don’t gaf.

@PCOSLOQUS In routine clinical practice, use of an oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT) (consisting of a fasting and 2-hour glucose level using a 75-g oral glucose load) to screen for impaired glucose tolerance (IGT) and T2DM in PCOS is recommended (not Insulin levels).
PCOS can present differently from individual to individual in terms of symptoms and severity! Your physician is the best resource to determine if PCOS is the correct diagnosis for you 👩⚕️
