We have had to support two disaster recovery’s in the last week. One a result of a malware attack that also affected the database backup on the Server. Make sure those backups are backed up external also!

Can't find files with special characters in the file name within a SOLIDWORKS PDM vault? Use a backslash (\) to escape the special character or enclose full string in double quotes #SOLIDWORKSPDM

If you are experiencing unexpected closures/issues within a SOLIDWORKS PDM vault view (Windows Explorer) it is useful to know that you can also capture Windows Error Reports which are not usually saved locally, and can be useful for technical support. See KB S-070173 for details
