@PFF Kurt is retired and doesn’t have a starting position in the NFL. So sure he could definitely mentor some guys and help them. But a man that’s a starting QB in a league where it’s not easy, where he has YEARS left to play and wants to keep his job then why would he mentor him?
@PFF Kurts career took off differently than most others…I agree with his selfless mentality and approach
@PFF It’s pretty clear tannehill considers him a direct threat and can’t handle the competition.
@PFF Drew Bledsoe mentored Brady, got injured and Brady took his job. Ryan is absolutely correct, it's not his job. There's coaches for that.
@PFF No…Kurt Warner is not competing for the starting job for the Titans
@PFF It’s all down hill once you choose to make it all about YOU… not a fun place to be. Titan fans wanted @ryantannehill1‘s head on a stake after the playoff loss. It wasn’t his fault. You can’t judge someone on one game or one comment. But we’re getting close to that point.
@PFF I do. Football is a team sport. Quarterbacks are judged by how their team performs. Tannehill ought to share info & support anyone in the QB room. He doesn’t need to make Malik a shake in the AM and hold his hand but having unity in that QB room and locker room is vital.
@PFF Yes, What you sow is what you reap and that is why he is struggling. But to his credit maybe he understands he would not make a good mentor. Who would want him?
