Researcher Studio is now live: Verified researchers can now connect through ORCID, publish their own lab templates and scientific models, and build public researcher profiles.

A while ago we quietly rolled out a Live Data update and integrated the @x402 protocol into PaperTrail. Labs can now pull fresh data from USGS, NOAA, Coinbase, CDC, and paid x402 feeds. Parameters update with real-world numbers, so you can see how the models behave under current conditions.

Currently 19 labs in the library - each one based on a real @arxiv paper. Only 4 of them have community tokens so far. The rest are just there to be run: change the parameters, see how the model behaves and save a snapshot. You can explore any of them without touching a token. Here’s what we’ve already shipped for PaperTrail: You can now take any existing lab, tweak the parameters, and create your own version of the research - with full change history and a link back to the original paper. There’s now a way to publicly review formulas, test cases, and simulation results, spot issues, and suggest fixes. You can put two models side by side, move the same controls, and immediately see where they diverge. Authors can claim their share of the fees from tokens built around their work. And we built an agent that finds fresh papers, creates labs, and prepares token launches. That’s what we’ve rolled out so far.

Just shipped Forkable Science Update You can now fork any supported lab, experiment with different parameters, and create your own version of the research. Every fork keeps its revision history and stays linked to the original paper.

Paper Battles Update is now live: You can now compare two models of the same problem with shared inputs, side by side. Move the same sliders, see both predictions at once, and spot the difference through numbers and overlaid charts

Peer Review Arena is now live on PAPERTRAIL. Researchers and independent experts can now publicly review lab formulas, test cases, and simulation results. Spot errors, submit fixes, and build your reputation through verified contributions.
