@TheSteinLine Has a coach even been fired after 1 game? Can only keep running the same hamster wheel so many times until you realize what you're doing is not going to work.

@TheSteinLine At some point maybe the Cavs will realize running the same players and expecting a different result is not going to happen but sure analytics will say they won tonight.

@PacersJJ @Pacers Very cool moment last night. It was so nice to watch the real Pacers again felt like life for me restarted again. Game 7 of Finals was on my birthday and I've lost both my parents in a year span, know its been tough for you too JJ. Hali is always a special part of Pacers history.

@TonyREast Part of me wonders if Pacers draft Mara at 5 if they hadnt done the Zu trade. Doesn't really matter but an interesting thought.

@TonyREast The only thing I could've seen is Drew and/or Zu doing a 1 year deal like Jaden McDaniels just did with Wolves if possible to up the next contract.

@AKRileyy5 I'm gonna wonder why 4 or 5 of these teams higher in lottery passed on Mara though. I seriously feel if Pacers dont do Zu trade they may have taken him at 5.

@TonyREast I do wish the Pacers learned you still cant throw those duck passes in the lane vs OKC.

@FlikM97 @Timberwolves What team put their starters out to start the 2nd half? It wasn't the Pacers. Both teams treated the game more seriously than a regular preseason game and it was fun. Both teams have some positives and negatives to try and get from the game its not that deep.

@lockedonpacers Thought it was a great game and yet showed a lot of room for improvement. I though the defense was super active and all over which is impressive for Game 1 preseason. Once Obi/Jarace/Oubre came in that lineup clicked very well. Going to be a whatever works sort of team on nights.

@Eternity9 @NBA @malayia_batton Hali went to Iowa State, they are playing in their building so kind of a homecoming for both teams.

@NileHoops Usage will drop significantly this year with better players back and his shooting percentages should be much better. And sub-20 with it being 19.9 is hilarious. These people are why the Spurs thought they were going to roll to a title over the Knicks, analytics are not the game.

@rise4raptors @madeebyjulian @the2kmessiah They will change it, you'll probably see Siakam a lot more on the perimiter. You can create the spacing a different way.

@AlexGoldenNBA I think both can be true in this case. When you win a title no matter the circumstance you're no longer going to care about one team. The Pacers need to prove they can come back as a playoff team but if they're a Top 4 seed I like their chances vs anyone in east.
