Joe Walsh and I don’t always agree. And that’s ok. That’s America. But I’m telling you — this video is straight fucking fire and so worth the watch.

@mr_evertz It’s not ok… and I like a lot about the picture, but also… Clay Staub is not wrong. Wasn’t half the complaint with Snyder’s work that it was “too dark and edgy? Superman not smiling enough?. W/ that I mind, whose idea was it to have the first look be depressed and dark??

@StarCouncils Look… Qui Gon got hit through the middle… that means his spine was severed and his heart was likely hit too. Sabine got hit on the side, so definitely kidney and maybe liver damage, but you got 2 kidneys and the liver regenerates to an extent. Also the script said so!!!

A fan of the Chicago Bulls successfully made a remarkable shot during a 1993 game, winning a million-dollar prize. This shot, nicknamed "The Calhoun Shot" or "The Immaculate Connection," occurred when spectator Don Calhoun made a 75-foot shot from the free-throw line at the opposite end of the court during a timeout in the third quarter of a Chicago Bulls vs. Miami Heat game on April 14, 1993. The shot was part of a promotional campaign offering a million-dollar reward to any fan who could achieve this feat. However, an insurance company named American Hole 'N One Inc initially invalidated the payment, citing a technicality due to Calhoun's past involvement in college basketball, which violated the contest rules. Despite this setback, both fan and player uproar ensued over the non-payment to Calhoun. Eventually, the sponsors of the promotion, including Coca-Cola and the Bulls, decided to honor the payment. As a result, Calhoun received $50,000 annually for the next two decades, totaling the promised million-dollar prize. Interestingly, Calhoun mentioned that Michael Jordan later remarked, "we made them pay it," referring to the collective effort that led to the sponsors fulfilling the payment.

@nikoagonzalez @GraceRandolph People said the same thing about ZSJL… yet it’s a completely different movie that is orders of magnitude better than Josstice League. Ayer has clearly stated his movie is different in tone… Leto’s Joker performance is not gutted, more character dev, etc.

@bbopinionpage @GraceRandolph It's a big deal in the same way Zack Snyder's Justice League was a big deal. When a studio changes a finished product so much that it becomes unrecognizable to the director and completely destroys the performance of one of the leads (Leto), it's problematic. #ReleaseTheAyerCut.

@mr_evertz I don't think that's the right question. This would do less to hurt the economy than having to bail out banks for wild/speculative derivatives in 2008, and less than subsidizing Walmart employee food costs through food stamps b/c billionaire owners pay badly.

@beammeuplucas @GraceRandolph I think Gunn already hurt his DC going forward with his selective partial reboot. Either commit to an actual full reboot, or finish off the Snydeverse storylines as elseworlds w/ Cavill and Affleck (since Greg Silverman confirmed profit for Snyderverse) and do the partial reboot.

@NFTLlama The mfs who have a negative comment about everything are miserable and down bad and will not be able to participate in our ecosystems in the future bc they spent all their time on twitter instead of making a healthy income.
