Tampa Bay #eclipse maximum is at 3:00 PM with about 65% of the sun blocked by the moon. You need special eclipse glasses to look directly at the sun. Just like any day of the year. If you don’t look at the sun, there will be nothing different about the day. It will not be any darker than any other day. There is nothing dangerous about tomorrow. You can drive. You can be outside. The only difference is that there is a reason to look at the sun, and if you do, make sure you have certified eclipse glasses. #eclipseSolar2024
@PaulFox13 Little more excitement in 20 years in the year 2044 when it comes directly over the Bay area. Mark your calendars....
@PaulFox13 I agree with you. Just wondering when CERN is being fired up and NASA is firing 3 rockets towards the eclipse. 🤷♀️
@PaulFox13 100% in Moose River, ME and 100% chance of clear skies. It's been a loonngg drive though.🫎🚗🌞
@PaulFox13 will be so glad when this is over sick of hearing about it
@PaulFox13 I anxiously await the eclipse shadows.
@PaulFox13 If you don't have glasses but own a colander, hold the colander over a flat surface outside (like a sidewalk or drvieway) and you'll be able to see the eclipse in the shadow on the ground.
@PaulFox13 A neighbor insists she still has her glasses she got when her eyes were dilated recently & they’ll protect her just fine. I’m debating between taking them off of her & throwing them in the trash vs pointing out where she should look for the best view. It sucks being too nice!
