A busy day almost over. We held a mass casualty training exercise today with our ED colleagues. It was a good simulation of the arrival of the maximum number of casualties. The plan works and holds up well, but lots of learning points to aid in improving the plan.
Lewis, does like a spot of gardening! This is the wild flower patch in our garden. He dug the ground over, sowed the seeds and covered them over with top soil.

We are baking something different this week, German Apple cake! The boys have used nearly every bowl, cup and jug in the house! A quick tidy-up and then on to wrapping Mrs Ms' birthday presents. She will apparently be 21 again on Wednesday!

As we ventured South last night… it struck me how dark it really is over the South Atlantic Ocean. Even with a bright moon behind us I’d never seen so many stars. I think even from 40,000ft you can also see a bit of the earths curvature. It was truly breathtaking. #nofilter…
