The reality is that the AFL will never change this award. They love the vagaries that drive engagement (read clicks). It will simply become an award that the has less and less meaning or respect from the football community #brownlowmedal

That result really hurts. Pies were one of the worst teams in the 8. Lost 5 of their last 6 and could barely beat Ds in the last round. Absolute indictment on our coaches and players that we could not get past a pretty shit Pies side. Lots for a young side to learn #AFLPiesLions

Just a thought, but felt like we lost a lot of defensive balance after the Dogs game when Butts got injured. Great having a couple of free wheeling interceptors but I think we missed the balance of a true lock down key position defender.
