After getting an exit on 2 of my YouTube channels last week I received a lot of messages on how people should approach YouTube exits Here's my 2 cents on the topic: If you are running AI slop/easily replaceable channels, don't even bother thinking about getting an exit. Make your fast cash, and move on to something smarter/better/more long term For such a channel you'd be lucky to get an exit up to 50K best case scenario. No serious investor would buy slop channels as with that 50K he can likely get a team to replicate similar results himself. There are a few ways to approach building channels with exit value, but my approach is: Position your channel as a sponsorship friendly channel. Let me give an example: Build in a niche where an app company's entire growth model is paying creators to bring them users Think sports betting (PrizePicks, Underdog, Kalshi), crypto exchanges (Bybit, Binance), stock apps (Webull, Moomoo), chess (Chesscom), even War Thunder for military history channels If you get to a point where any of these (there are many more examples) would pay you $10K to 20K+ per month to sponsor your content, you are in a prime exit situation as you're already worth hundreds of thousands to these brands (not even considering adsense value) If you are after a big exit and not a $20K valuation, you cannot be in a top 10 waterslides niche, but in a niche where you can build authority and have companies that would pay big bucks care for it If the actual sponsor company is not interested, eventually another actor of the same industry will see value and make a move - or at least gives you the best chance at it This is not a paid ad at all, but since some youtube tools have sponsorship visibility now, you can simply: >connect nexlev mcp to claude >prompt: using nexlev, tell me what faceless youtube niches would match this criteria: in an industry where companies sponsor videos to get user acquisition. for example a fantasy company sponsoring faceless sports videos to promote their app >get a table of niches/channel examples >money
