I know a lot of pretty boring guys who have great social circles in cities they moved to as strangers. Not charming. Not the loudest guy in the room. They just aren't embarrassed. They go back to the same place every week even after nobody talked to them the first 4 times. They learn the staff's names and then actually use them. They ask a guy for his Instagram without making it weird, because they decided ahead of time that it isn't weird. They text first. Then they text again when he doesn't reply. They book a table for 6 and send it to 5 people and let 2 show up. They don't lie in bed at night replaying how a conversation went. They just keep showing up.
