NEW: Sources tell me that No 10 is now expecting Sue Gray report at some point TONIGHT. On a day of timetable twists and turns, the final decision on publication is in hands of PM. But expectation is it will be released in full. mirror.co.uk/news/politics/…
You don't need to wait up! If No 10 does receive the report tonight, as I'm told they're expecting, it will probably be published tomorrow, possibly ahead of PMQs.
@PippaCrerar Boris Johnson currently off to inspect coastal defences in Oxfordshire.
@PippaCrerar @FireyRoxy Hubris from a succession of Ministers suggests surf boards waxed. Will they ride this tsunami? @PippaCrerar Sue Gray has found that Boris did attend all the parties and got hammered at each of them but because he was wearing his work suit it doesn’t count
@PippaCrerar I'm sure it's the furore that followed today's disclosure of the Met investigation & the implication that it could delay & compromise publication of the Gray report, that has brought this about.
@PippaCrerar One huge cover up coming including the police investigation
@PippaCrerar 439 people died today from COVID-19. New cases still pushing 100K daily. Let us hope it will be released in full, but I am sceptical...about it all whatever is published. Time for the press to do a full court press.
@PippaCrerar Why is it in the hands of Boris Johnson when he is the person under investigation?
