In addition to toning down inertia in Tarkov it looks like they've also nerfed aim punch in Arena. IMO these types of changes are leading the game down the road closer to any other fps. I'm not a big fan of that route and it removes the reason why I play Tarkov.

I'm hearing Tarkov may be removing inertia from Tarkov Arena. We are just over 45 days from the 1.0 release and they are still toying with key elements of the movement system? That's wild.

In Arena Breakout Infinite it typically takes me less than 60 seconds to join a match but for some reason in Tarkov it's upwards of 5 minutes or worse. This alone makes it hard to justify booting up EFT over ABI when I just wanna jump in and play.

Gotta admit, I enjoyed the first 10 hours of Arena Breakout Infinite 100x more than the first 100 hours of Escape from Tarkov. Tarkov is gonna need to bring a lot more to 1.0 in Nov to tear me away from Arena Breakout and Arc Raiders.

I've owned Icarus since it launched in 2021. The journey this game has gone through was rough at the beginning for sure, but I can wholeheartedly recommend it for $7. If you like anything close to survival/building games, grabbing this one is an easy choice.

Hey @KeepsakeGames I grabbed Jump Space today and sadly the motion sickness issues from the playtest are still there. I have thousands of hours in FPS and space games and this is rarely an issue, but with Jump Space it's pretty profound. Any ideas on how to fix?

You'll have to buy Escape from Tarkov AGAIN if you want to play on Steam when it launches in Nov. This is quite honestly one of the biggest FU's to the player base since the EoD debacle. Imagine buying the $250 version just to be told to fork over another $50 to play on Steam.

As I see the news of the Nintendo patent on "summoned" characters, I feel a bit of relief that I never heavily invested in anything Nintendo has produced since I had a SNES back in the 90's. I'm heavily opposed to software patents as a thing and this is a good example why.
