@genesimmons She was so damn beautiful, man. Literally radiant. But such strength and resilience. Fan since I was 5 yrs old in 1976 and I can still remember the first time I read about you talking about your mother. It was the Dynasty-era Time magazine cover/article

@naokiss The secret is in the first word! "She" off Dressed to Kill. Gene heard the line, "She walks by moonlight" from the 1953 John Wayne western, "Hondo".

Doubt if you'll remember, but it was a major lifetime memory for me. Sometime in the 90s I interviewed you when I was doing a live radio remote from a little country bar in even littler south Louisiana town. You were playing in the band that night. #ThePipefitters @LouDPhillips

@naokiss 2/ Rocker: WHOOO HOOOO! BLACK DIAMOND! 🤟🏽Not only one of my favorite Peter Criss lead vox songs, it's one of my all-time favorite KISS songs period. Hot take: While Peter may have not been the best DRUMMER in KISS. But he's by far my favorite SINGER in KISS.

@naokiss 1/ Oh that's easy! I've got 2; 1 ballad, 1 rocker. The ballad: A little tune about Rags, a sailor's only daughter! The best Rod Stewart song that was neither Maggie May nor You Wear It Well, and that WASN'T actually Rod Stewart song. Hot take: Hard Luck Woman > Beth. The

@genesimmons I pity the fool!! If you haven’t yet seen the new documentary on Netflix, I highly recommend it! If I had anything to say critically, it's that it wasn't long enough; it could have easily been twice as long and still be interesting, nostalgic, heartfelt, and authentic #MrT #80s

@punt_rd 2/ that experience, so by the time Ultimate Sin dropped, he made sure that he was given credit that he deserved. I still remember loving watching the video of Shot in the Dark! Back when music videos were mini movies and MTV was television that played music. Even though it was ➡️

@punt_rd 1/Never! 2nd and last record w/ Jake E. Lee, who I think was always in a precarious position of being the one to follow the legendary Randy Rhoads, while also preceeding the iconic young virtuoso Zakk Wylde. Then there's the whole Bark at the Moon screwjob, but he learned from➡️

@naokiss B. Underrated. Ironic, considering that this album is the EPITOME of the time period that I lovingly yet adamantly believe is "Peak KISS"; 1976-1978. If Destroyer & Love Gun were the bookends to Peak KISS, then R&R Over would be RIGHT THERE in the middle! The PEAK OF the peak 🤟🏽

@CindyH874325640 @genesimmons 💯FACTS! So commonplace. We've seen this tragedy repeat itself for decades in some of the most talented and beloved comedians. They're deeply depressed, traumatic childhoods, and performing comedy is their catharsis, an escape. But we lose so many to overdose or suicide

@naokiss In 1 word: Pivotal. Catalyst that propelled them from a niche band that had a rabid and loyal fan base but whose 3 previous studio albums sold had modest sales & failed to showcase their brilliance to a massive, mainstream audience. Helluva gamble, the entire label was bet on 🤟🏽

@TheJimCornette Her (in)famous interview where she was (trying to) discuss AI, but repeatedly referred to it as "A1". 🙄 @steveaustinBSR often says "Didn't know whether to wipe my watch or wind my ass". After that "A1" gaffe I didn't know if I wanted a ribeye or robot

@CodeFord @allan_cheapshot WHAT ABOUT RAVEN???!!!!👊🏽 Crazy coincidence. Yesterday I was literally wearing an old faded black, sleeves-cut-off t-shirt. The tag read "WCW/nWO". The front? Graphic of a wooden ankh. The back: "I feel your pain"! Should take a pic & send to @theraveneffect
