Also, until proper spawn scanning comes back, my feeds will never be at the same scale. I couldn't possibly cover full cities for every feed
Been trying to make a judgement call over how long this new API will hold up. I want to make sure if PokeNow does come back it is stable.
To the people asking - I'm paying careful attention to the PGo Dev community. I've done some successful preliminary testing in a small area.
Did anyone use @FastPokeMapCom this week? It worked pretty well for me two nights ago. Lots of drama in the mapping scene right now.
So apparently the guys at @FastPokeMapCom may have the new API cracked?
We should be running again by friday/saturday. Testing everything
Whenever I generate these heat maps, I send a request for all data in db. This takes about 30 mins every time. I'm making more but it's slow
The rest of the working feeds just died. Niantic has shut off the old API. Mapping is dead for awhile now. Was fun while it lasted!
I heard that the feeds that are still operational are possible because the admins are manually answering captchas. That's dedication!
Captchas are in place for scanners now. This has halted most feeds. PokeNow will be down until further notice. Hopefully not an end.
I'm going to shut down the feeds for the most part tonight for retooling. Some tweets may still go out from time to time. Hope you had fun!
All that hard work today and last night paid off. The feeds aren't perfect, but they've been running uninterrupted for 6 hours now.

It looks like Irvine and Ladera/RSM has the most accurate spawn timers right now, if you are trying to figure out where to play tonight.
