Darlings, does it come as a shock that I've penned a few lines in Tagalog? 🇵🇭 But have you forgotten? I’m not a foreigner; I'm a proud Filipino who’s immersed in the ebb and flow of Tagalog. It is my daily muse, my linguistic canvas, and I wield it with the grace, unless I’m pissed. 🎶💬 Listen up, loves, Politique isn't here to rain on the parade of our everyday DDS, those supporters of former president Rodrigo Duterte, as I understand why they support him. I am, after all, a Loyalist, and I know how they feel. I tip my couture hat to their loyalty, as deep as the trenches of the grandest galas. 🇵🇭🥂 But here's my pet peeve, and this is a topic at my brunches and luncheons with friends: my bone of contention isn't with the DDS; it's with the Paid Parrot Propagandists (PPP) who use their personal vendettas as ammunition to sway their followers. They're like reality TV characters throwing public tantrums because they didn't get the last piece of cake at brunch. But in their case, appointments and/or favors. 🍰📺 Now, hold onto your fabulous fascinators, because these PPP don't serve us with legitimate criticisms; oh no! They ATTACK the President and the First Lady (and those close to them) all because of their PERSONAL HATE 😡. Imagine crafting your political opinions as if you were choosing your shoes for the day – based on their mood du jour, darlings! ☕😤 You know what my measurement of support is? The Loyalists’ support. We are like the timeless classics played at a gala, serenading the nation through generations with our unwavering devotion to our beloved Philippines. 🎶🌟 And then there's the support of the dramatic club – Sass Rogando Sasot, Claire Eden Contreras, Glenn Chong, Joe Smith Medina, Vicente "Pebbles" Cunanan, and their meltdown entourage. They seem to have more agendas than a royal gala has courses. 💼🍽️ These social media maestros of manipulation are one of a kind. They're like digital Pied Pipers leading their legions of followers down the rabbit hole of misinformation and personal vendettas. These self-appointed influencers, with their massive followings, think they're the modern-day saviors of the nation. But let's dissect why they're not exactly the heroes they paint themselves to be.🤓 First, these propagandists peddle their poison with the subtlety of a sledgehammer, turning nuanced political discourse into a chaotic circus. They're like the overeager magicians at a children's birthday party, promising grand illusions but delivering nothing more than cheap parlor tricks. 🎪🧚♀️🪄 Second, they suffer from a chronic case of what I call "meltdown-itis." At the slightest inconvenience or setback, they throw public tantrums that would make a toddler proud. It's like watching a soap opera on an endless loop, with dramatic twists, exaggerated emotions, and, of course, plenty of tears. 🍼🐱😭 But the most dangerous aspect of these propagandists is their agenda. They're fueled by personal vendettas and pocket-padding schemes, not by a genuine love for the nation. They'd sell their grandmother's antique kitchen cabinets for a few more clicks and likes. 🤑🐍💰 So, my dear compatriots, let us not be swayed by the siren songs of these digital demagogues. Their massive followings may seem impressive, but beneath the surface lies a world of manipulation, melodrama, and hidden agendas. It's time to embrace critical thinking and discernment as our guiding stars, for these virtues are our armor against the chaos of misinformation and personal vendettas. 🌟🍀📝✨ Remember, it's the genuine love for our nation and the pursuit of truth that should drive us forward, not the propaganda of hate and tantrums of those who seek to exploit our emotions and pockets. Let’s rise above the noise, seek clarity amid the confusion, and stand united in our quest for a brighter future for the Philippines. Together, let’s resist the allure of the PAID PARROT PROPAGANDISTS forge a path towards a more enlightened citizenry. 🇵🇭
@PolitiquePH I think to combat them, we, who know that truth, should also make videos promoting what is true and factual. I admonish my kids when they say they saw it in Tiktok. Read the encyclopedia or watch the Youtube videos of History, Natl Geographic or Discovery channels.
@PolitiquePH Well said! ♥️💚 Deplorably, however, both are also true in the PH🇵🇭: 1. "Herd mentality" 2. "Heard mentality" - i.e. what's heard; now it's what is read. Awash by dumbed-down media; Dribbled by "me-too" Culture; Eductd by "rote learning;" Critical Thinking is a RARE THING!🤔💭
@PolitiquePH Well said. Let's promote peace and love, NOT hate.
