IPL 2023 ad revenue crossed ₹10,000 crore. -Broadcasters earned ₹4,700 crore. -Franchises earned about ₹1,450 crore. -BCCI got about ₹430 crore. -But Government directly earned ₹0 Why? IPL is exempt from tax because it promotes cricket. I think cricket has already been promoted a lot. Now It is time to pay taxes because it is not fair to the people who work hard, make money, and pay taxes
