Nobody is talking about what self-hosting actually costs you to run. Coolify, Dokploy, CapRover — they all SSH into your server and shell out to the Docker CLI, then parse the text that comes back. That's why they flake. That's why they poll. Levelrail does it properly. A tiny agent sits on each node, talks to the Docker Engine API directly, and streams events up. The control plane never polls. Reverse-dialed over gRPC with mutual TLS, so your servers take no inbound ports. Everything ships as two static Go binaries. Caddy is embedded as a library. BuildKit is embedded as a library. SQLite in WAL mode. No separate database, no message queue, no extra containers just to run the platform. Push to git, get a running app with TLS, logs, metrics and rollback. Apache 2.0. From the team behind thesvg and theauth-go. The ticker is \$LEVELRAIL. Creator fees are being redirected to his GitHub. github.com/glincker/level…

I can't believe this hasn't been done before. Every video you've ever watched was dragged into existence by hand. Somebody sat at a timeline, moving clips, frame by frame, for hours. For a 30 second video. There is a company that got so sick of it they open-sourced the fix. HeyGen built something called HyperFrames, and the idea is stupidly simple once you hear it: write a webpage. The browser renders every frame. FFmpeg stitches it into an MP4. No timeline. No scrubbing. No export button you press and pray over. Same file in → identical video out. Every single time. 69,000 stars in seven months. Apache 2.0. 5,800 commits and the last one landed an hour ago. And here's the part nobody's talking about: it's already the engine inside HeyGen's own commercial video product. So the thing is real, it's funded, it's free, and it's a text file. The ticker is \$HYPERFRAMES. Creator fees are being redirected to his GitHub. github.com/heygen-com/hyp…
