This is what happened when Zelensky met with Melvin Hurwitz a United States World War 2 Veteran. The Veteran tried to kiss Zelensky's hand, quickly realising what was happening, Zelesnky pulls his hand, he didn't feel like he deserved that level of respect from a Hero. Instead Zelesnky brings himself down to his level and embraces him instead. Veteran: “You’re the savior of the people!” Zelenskyy: “No, no, no. You saved Europe.” Veteran: “You bring tears to my eyes. You are my hero” Zelenskyy: “No, no, you are our hero.” Veteran: “I pray for you.” When in France for the 100th aniversary of World War 1, Trump was asked if he would visit the Aisne-Marne American Cemetery where 2,289 United States Military personal lay after being killed in World War 1, Trump said: “Why should I go to that cemetery? It’s filled with losers.” In a separate conversation on the same trip, Trump referred to the more than 1,800 United States Marines who lost their lives at Belleau Wood as ‘Suckers’ for being killed fighting the Nazi Army. In 2025 the United States brough home the bodies of 4 fallen United States Service members as their remains returned home. It was usual protocol for Presidents to attend and welcome them home as a show of respect. Trump didnt bother, instead he went to his Golf Club in Florida. In 2024 at a public event, Trump compared the Presidential Medal of Freedom, a civilian honor, with the Medal of Honor, the highest U.S. military decoration for valor in combat. He said the civilian award was “much better,” then remarked that Medal of Honor recipients are often severely wounded or dead so Medals Of Honor where insignificant. They are not the same.

x.com/actfast/status…

15 DAYS IN A FOXHOLE WITH A RUSSIAN SOLDIER: AN EXTRAORDINARY STORY OF SURVIVAL 🇺🇦 “You're not one of us, are you?” For 15 days, a Ukrainian soldier was trapped in an underground shelter with a Russian soldier who initially held him at gunpoint. They shared water, played chess with handmade clay pieces, and eventually escaped together. When the Russian finally agreed to surrender, he had just one request: “Order some food.” This is the remarkable story of 34-year-old Vadym Letunov, callsign “Cartman,” an infantryman from Odesa serving with Ukraine's 118th Separate Mechanized Brigade. His ordeal began during a devastating Russian bombardment. Vadym and a young fellow soldier, who was on his first combat mission, came under relentless mortar and drone attacks. An explosion buried Vadym beneath earth and fallen trees. When he regained consciousness, his comrade was calling for help, saying he could no longer feel his legs. The young soldier died before Vadym's eyes. With no radio and no way to contact his unit, Vadym managed to free himself and stumbled toward what he believed was Ukrainian territory. He discovered a dugout, entered to rest, and suddenly heard movement. When he pulled back a curtain, he found himself staring down the barrel of a Russian soldier's rifle. “You're not one of us, are you?” Vadym asked. The Russian ordered him inside, searched him for weapons, drugs, and GPS devices, and interrogated him about Ukrainian drone operators. He threatened to shoot him but then said something bizarre: “Calm down. I'm not going to kill you. See? I have a cross.” The Russian had fashioned a wooden cross bearing the words “Save and Protect.” He dug a small pit for Vadym to sleep in. The first night, the Ukrainian soldier didn't sleep at all. Over the following days, their relationship became an extraordinary mixture of captivity, fear, suspicion, and reluctant cooperation. The Russian occasionally gave Vadym water, socks, and scraps of fabric to wrap around his injured feet. They talked about food, their lives, and the war. “When I'm full, I'm kind,” the Russian told him. Desperate for supplies, the Russian even made a sign displaying Vadym's callsign and military unit, hoping Ukrainian drones would recognize it and deliver food. To pass the time, they played chess using handmade clay pieces. Vadym shaped his pieces from wet clay, while the Russian mixed earth with urine to make his pieces hold together. Meanwhile, Vadym's physical condition deteriorated. His feet were badly injured, and one toe had turned black. “Once, I asked him to kill me. I saw my black toe and realized I had no strength left.” Then, after 15 days, everything changed. Heavy fog covered the battlefield. While searching for water, the two men heard a drone overhead and rushed into their shelter. But Vadym recognized it as Ukrainian. He ran outside holding his improvised identification sign, fell to his knees, and shouted toward the sky: “Cartman! It's me!” The Ukrainian drone dropped a radio, allowing him to contact his comrades. “I told them, ‘There's a Russian here with me. He wants to surrender.’ And the Russian added, ‘Order some food.’ So we actually ordered food.” Later, Ukrainian forces arranged their evacuation. Vadym feared until the very last moment that the Russian might change his mind, but both men eventually climbed into a Ukrainian evacuation vehicle. “I never believed you'd actually come with me,” Vadym told him. The Russian replied: “You promised me they'd feed me and wouldn't beat me.” Vadym emerged barefoot, barely able to walk because of his injuries. His first request to his fellow Ukrainians was that they not harm the prisoner. But his thoughts remained with the young comrade who had died beside him. “I lost my fellow soldier, and I was the senior man. That's very painful for me.But I'm glad I brought the Russian back — not even as a person, but as an opportunity for a prisoner exchange. Essentially, it's one person for another.

Our warriors have completed another movement of Operation Vivaldi in the Donbas. Zelena Dolyna, Lypove and Kolodiazi are free again, bringing 101 square kilometers back to Ukraine. Across the whole operation, 16 towns and villages and 277 km² have been liberated, while the enemy has lost around 8,000 personnel.

Voor alle Russische propagandisten en elke wappie die in Russische propaganda is getrapt: Aanschouw de Poolse Minister van Buitenlandse Zaken die bij de VN stap voor stap de hele Russische propagandamachine feitelijk ontmantelt.

This is Chris Manson, an ordinary American who has done something extraordinary for Ukraine. Chris is not a billionaire. He is not a politician. He is not a celebrity. He is a former firefighter who works in healthcare. In 2022, his 7-year-old daughter Lily asked him a simple question: “Daddy, can we do something to help Ukraine?” He could have told her that Ukraine was thousands of miles away. That there was little they could do. That it was someone else’s problem. Instead, he decided to act. In March 2022, Chris founded US Ambulances for Ukraine. On March 29, the first ambulance was on its way to Ukraine. What started with one ambulance became something extraordinary. 125 ambulances, fire trucks, and rescue vehicles have now been sent to Ukraine. These vehicles are saving lives. They are helping Ukrainian soldiers, doctors, firefighters, and rescue workers. They are evacuating the wounded and bringing help to people whose lives have been shattered by russia’s war. One little girl asked her father a question. And because he decided to act, countless Ukrainians have received help when they needed it most. Chris has no intention of stopping. He plans to continue helping Ukraine for as long as necessary. There are people who have billions of dollars, enormous political power, and millions of followers. And then there are people like Chris Manson, who simply see suffering and decide to do something about it. You don’t need to be rich or powerful to make a difference. You just need to care enough to act. Thank you, Chris Manson. Thank you for showing what true American generosity looks like. Ukraine will never forget your kindness.

@wearedefence Thanks for the detailed information, much appreciated to see progress being made. Adds to the accountability that such a complex business model needs while maintaing security parameters.

@heyrohitai Thanks for waking me up to this. Not only is technology accelerating, but the pace of discovery is accelerating. The thing which moved humans forward for century upon century was applicable discovery. (What works what doesn't.) That tool no longer just belongs to us.
