@TheBradOwen @WPT Nice work Brad. Being a Brit I don’t really understand all the legal loopholes you have to jump through over there but it seems like you’re being an outstanding ambassador of the game and being really positive in the way you’re presenting it.

@BBCSport that is one of the most disgraceful things I’ve ever witnessed in football. I know you won’t print this but Michael Oliver should never referee a game ever again. Absolutely horrific. #bbcfootball

@BBCSport Hey Chris (20:33), I was watching you for the first time today, for a person trying to win an argument depending on set pieces is mighty disappointing. I am bored. #bbcfootball

@virginmedia @CallumCollierJ So what’s the point in putting an estimated fix time on there in the first place? Especially if this has been pushed back by over 96 hours so far. This does absolutely nothing to manage customer expectations. Just tell the highest paid person you know that.

@virginmedia @CallumCollierJ Of course I’ve done this. The issue originally should have been resolved around 12:10 on Tuesday and since then it’s been pushed back hour by hour until it is now saying 17:10 today but that does nothing to tell me any sort of update. What is the issue and when will it be sorted?

@virginmedia @CallumCollierJ I can’t speak for Callum but you can certainly help me. When is this shockingly diabolical service of mine going to be back up and running. I know you’re only a small, low-budget,home based company but being without internet for FOUR FUCKING DAYS is now becoming a bit of a joke.

No, not 💯 Elon. In the U.K. they’re not going round ‘finding people who’ve said something they disagree with and putting them in a f—king cage.’ Some people are being charged for inciting racial hatred and for organising acts of violence. It’s very specific, and it’s the law in most democracies including the US. For example, one person has pleaded guilty today to inciting an attack on a hotel housing asylum seekers: an attack which then took place. Another hotel was set on fire, with people still inside. Freedom carries responsibility: and freedom of speech carries with it the responsibility of each of us to use our words wisely and to be aware of the damage misinformation can cause. To be clear, criminal violence directed towards various communities in the U.K. was perpetrated as a result of malicious and specifically targeted misinformation online. And it’s a relief no-one was killed. Words matter. And yet here you are, running a huge information network, and all you can do is post 💯 over something you choose not to verify for accuracy, not alert people to it’s highly damaging nature. In fact, because of who you are, your 💯 gives it a stamp of approval in the eyes of those who seek validation for their actions. What we say and do has real consequences. That’s because we’re not in a matrix, we’re in real life, and sticking 💯 on a lie doesn’t turn it into truth.
