My opinion: Even a single instance of PostgreSQL properly tuned, on a server with moderate resources can handle a LOT. I can't count the number of times I've heard the same story from companies in the past wondering how to scale their app that "MIGHT" blow up to millions of users. The reality is there are few cases that actually happens. Bottom line, it's not a bad idea to thinking about these things.. but I personally would not focus a ton of effort overthinking this at the beginning. If resources become an issue there are a number of options to handle it. Horizontal or vertical scaling, additional read replicas, sharding etc. citusdata might be a good place to look. I'd personally just start out with an appropriately sized managed Postgres instance like AWS RDS and grow from there.

@MansiCodez No of request is very less. To handle this we don't need kafka. If multiple service needs every event independently and event must be retained and replayed then i will think of kafka otherwise if we only need to handle background job I will think of Bull mq/redis queue first.
