So, Dems will take back the house, but likely not the Senate. As they’ve been saying for awhile until recently. If Dems do take the Senate, it’s a blue wave year. But don’t trust polls & EV data shows a moderate Dem advantage; not a wave.

BUT still unconvinced overall. Prior years have left me with no faith in polls & not enough EV data yet I still have a hard time believing Ohio is going blue, especially with EV data North Caroline will win the Dem Senate Iowa might go blue, but not convinced…

Early predictions: El-Sayed will win MI - GREAT candidate and campaign Collins will win ME - Jackson needs to fire every Dem consultant; terrible lackluster campaign. All he had to do is what Platner did minus the scandals Will TX actually go blue? - cautiously optimistic…

@ElenP79608464 But yes, I do agree my sister is unique. I thought the negative stuff they say about extreme leftists was mostly propaganda and solely online, but she does fit the mold. But then again, I don’t know anyone else quite like her so I do believe it is the minority.

@ElenP79608464 I do find my sister to be quite obnoxious. Even my daughter is starting to say this as well. And they’ve been two peas in a pod since the day she was born. My other 3 children are much younger so entirely different situation there. I had my daughter @ 18 and the others later.

@ElenP79608464 In sports, status, wealthy and almost everything else. Unfortunately, my Mom’s only two children were nothing like her. I’m a liberal hippie, my sister is a leftist and her granddaughter wins every costume contest at Supercons. So, the conflict is understandable.

@ElenP79608464 My Mom def did upset her. I don’t think my sister or my daughter have ever felt my Mom really accepted them for who they are. Honestly, I didn’t always feel accepted by my Mom or her family. Her whole family is conservative, deeply religious and highly competitive…

@ElenP79608464 BUT my Mom was never abusive, neglectful, had addictions or anything like that. She was a bit too strict, showed rather tough love and was overbearing, but never abusive. That is a HUGE difference. No one should ever put up with abuse; whether from family or anyone else.

@ElenP79608464 I always thought my parents and especially my Mom were too old-fashioned in their way of thinking. I moved out the day I turned 18 and was a bit angry for many reasons. I got over it when I started having my own kids almost immediately. So, I guess I only speak for myself.

@ChristianHeiens All Trump had to do was continue the economic gains he walked into (both in 2016 & 2024 the economy was doing great when he entered office). But he started another pointless war in Iran and has proven incompetent. He hasn’t lost the MAGA base, but he’s lost everyone else.

@earlyvotedata Because Trump’s approval cratered after 2024 and the midterms are always a referendum on the current admin. 2025 is a valid comparison and the EV in those 2 states is looking similar to 2025.

@holdyourwinners @TheDataGooroo I doubt it. It is still a deeply polarized country. Though GOP are def going to lose seat and the House. Still have a hard time believing we are going to flip the Senate tho. I hope so tho!
