He took a loaf of bread, after blessing it he broke it gave it to them and said “Take; this is my body” Then he took a cup, and after giving thanks he gave it to them, and all of them drank from it He said to them This is my blood of the covenant, poured out for many. Mk 14:23-4

when they came from Bethany, he was hungry. Seeing in the distance a fig tree in leaf, he went to see whether perhaps he would find anything on it. When he came to it, he found nothing but leaves, for it was not the season for figs Mark 11:12-12 Did this raise doubts on divinity?

Children, how hard it is to enter the kingdom of God! It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God. They were greatly astounded and said to one another Then who can be saved? Mark 10:24-26

Mark 10: 11-14 "Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery against her and if she divorces her husband and marries another she commits adultery." And "People were bringing children...he.. said Let the little children come to me" Consecutive verses

he was teaching his disciples, saying to them "The Son of Man is to be betrayed into human hands and they will kill him and three days after being killed, he will rise again." But they did not understand what he was saying and were afraid to ask him Mark 9:31-32

For what will it profit them to gain the whole world and forfeit their life? Indeed, what can they give in return for their life? Those who are ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation of them the Son of Man will also be ashamed Mark 8:37-39

He sighed deeply in his spirit and said "Why does this generation ask for a sign? Truly I tell you, no sign will be given to this generation." And he left them and getting into the boat again he went across to the other side. Mark 8:12-13

He took seven loaves after giving thanks he broke them, gave them to his disciples to distribute and they distributed them to the crowd They had also a few small fish and after blessing them he ordered that these too should be distributed They ate and were filled Mark 8:7-8

Pharisees and scribes asked him Why do your disciples not live according to the tradition of the elders but eat with defiled hands? He said Isaiah prophesied rightly about you hypocrites it is written 'This people honors me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me Mk 7:5

The apostles gathered around Jesus told him all that they had done and taught He said Come away to a deserted place all by yourselves and rest a while For many were coming and going; they had no leisure even to eat. And they went away in the boat to a deserted place Mark 6:30-32

Some were saying John the baptizer has been raised from the dead; these powers are at work in him Others said, It is Elijah Others said It is a prophet, like one of the prophets of old But when Herod heard of it, he said John, whom I beheaded, has been raised Mark 6:14-16

Where did this man get all this? What is this wisdom that has been given to him? What deeds of power are being done by his hands! Is not this the carpenter, son of Mary brother of James Joses Judas Simon Are not his sisters here with us? And they took offense at him Mark 6:2-3

While he was still speaking, some people came from the leader's house to say "Your daughter is dead. Why trouble the teacher any further?" But overhearing what they said, Jesus said to the leader of the synagogue "Do not fear, only believe." Mark 5:35-36

As he was getting into the boat, the man who had been possessed by demons begged him that he might be with him. But Jesus refused, and said to him, "Go home to your friends and tell them how much the Lord has done for you and what mercy he has shown you. Mark 5:18-19

A great windstorm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so that the boat was already being swamped. But he was in the stern, asleep on the cushion; and they woke him up and said to him Teacher, do you not care that we are perishing? Mark 4:37-38

The kingdom of God is as if someone would scatter seed on the ground, and would sleep and rise night and day and the seed would sprout and grow he does not know how. The earth produces of itself, first the stalk, then the head, then the full grain in the head. Mark 4:28-29

'they may indeed look, but not perceive, and may indeed listen, but not understand; so that they may not turn again and be forgiven.' And he said to them Do you not understand this parable? Then how will you understand all the parables? Mark 4:11-13

"Truly I tell you people will be forgiven for their sins and whatever blasphemies they utter; but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit can never have forgiveness, but is guilty of an eternal sin" for they had said, "He has an unclean spirit" Mark 3:29-30

Jesus went out again beside the sea; the whole crowd gathered around him, and he taught them. As he was walking along, he saw Levi son of Alphaeus sitting at the tax booth, and he said to him, "Follow me." And he got up and followed him. Mark 2:13-14

Some of the scribes were sitting there, questioning in their hearts Why does this fellow speak in this way? It is blasphemy! Who can forgive sins but God alone? At once Jesus perceived in his spirit that they were discussing these questions among themselves Mark 2:6-7
